The paper primarily focuses on researching the students’ attitudes towards the use of
translanguaging in the classroom along with the students’ performance following the actual
application of translanguaging strategies. The study included 137 pupils, from seventh and
eighth grades, in the primary school “Begov Han'' in Begov Han. The collected data includes
answered questionnaires, completed tests and teacher’s observations. The results of the study
indicate that the use of translanguaging is not only seen favourably by the students but it is
also followed by better test results. This leads to the conclusion that incorporation of
translanguaging in classrooms should not be so easily disregarded.
