1863 yılında Bosna Müfettişliği görevine atanan Ahmet Cevdet Paşa bu görevi ifa
ederken gördüklerini, gözlemlerini ve önerilerini bir rapor haline getirmiştir. Bu raporlar daha
sonra yayınlanmıştır. Tebliğimizde Ahmet Cevdet Paşa’nınTezâkiradlıeserleri temel referans
olarak alınacaktır. Ahmet Cevdet Paşa’nın raporlarına göre, evlilik, askerlik adetleri, düğünler
gibi başlıklar ön plana çıkarılıp dönemin kültür hayatıortaya konulacaktır.
